Homeless

Inspired by a striking image discovered during a journey, this work serves as a raw yet empathetic study of life on the margins of society. "Homeless" captures the weathered face of a man whose deep wrinkles and salt-and-pepper beard tell a story of survival and resilience. The piece’s focal point is his arresting green gaze—piercing and clear—which challenges the viewer to look beyond the surface of poverty and recognize the shared humanity lying beneath. Clad in a simple green hooded garment and set against a dark, austere background bathed in soft, ethereal blue light, the portrait balances realism with a poetic, almost spiritual quality. Rendered in pastel, this work is a moving tribute to the invisible faces of our world, seeking to give voice to the strength and transparency found in the most unexpected places.
