Evening tea with bagels

The painting was made by Elvira Chumarina, a student of the Russian Academy of Arts.
"Evening Tea with Bagels" was included in a series of still lifes reflecting folk traditions.
The emphasis is on teapots - black and white. Opposition? Not at all. They complement each other, as evidenced by the light iridescent highlights on the black teapot.
Broad brushstrokes, saturated colors give the picture a special flavor.
