Playa de la Concha (La Concha Beach)

Una mañana de invierno paseando por la playa de la Concha con el Monte Igueldo al fondo, el tiempo está empeorando. El impermeable es obligatorio para que el paseo sea agradable y termine tras los cristales de una cafetería frente a un café reconfortante.
La Bella Easo como también es conocida esta hermosa ciudad a veces,muestra su personalidad de esta manera.

Nota del autor: Este óleo salió de una fotografía guardada en un cajón durante años, la recorté porque me gustó mucho con la simple intención de contemplarla de vez en cuando. Salió de una revista o un periódico pero no recuerdo su nombre. Años después siendo ya alumno de la escuela de BB.AA. se me ocurrió la idea de pasarla al lienzo.

On a winter morning, while strolling along La Concha beach with Mount Igueldo in the background, the weather is taking a turn for the worse. A raincoat is essential to ensure the walk remains pleasant—ideally ending behind the window of a café over a comforting cup of coffee.

"La Bella Easo"—as this beautiful city is also known—sometimes reveals its personality in just this way.

Author's note: This oil painting originated from a photograph that had been tucked away in a drawer for years; I had cut it out because I liked it, intending simply to look at it now and then. It came from a magazine or newspaper, though I do not recall which one. Years later, while a student at the School of Fine Arts, the idea occurred to me to translate the image onto canvas.
