Water and air - two elements that are mutually exclusive? Not in my opinion! Both represent your flow and change in life. Let yourself drift and use the current that is there for you instead of fighting against life and overexerting yourself.

"The alchemy of water and air" is a picture from my Alchemy seriesin which I combine (apparent) opposites and invite you to recognize that life consists of many different facets and that you can use this to your advantage.

The koi fish and the kingfisher in the picture stand for prosperity on all levels and invite you to recognize the amount of possibilities that surround you everywhere - no matter what life situation you are currently in.

The painting was created in several layers with acrylic and oil paints.
