Where is your focus - inside or outside? Are you easily distracted by the "noise" of everyday life and does everything become too much for you? Would you prefer to escape into your inner self and notice less?
"The alchemy of inside and outside" is a painting from my Alchemy seriesin which I unite opposites and different states in one painting.
The message of this painting is that you should not see the inside and the outside separately. The more we are in resistance with our environment and see ourselves as separate from it, the more stressful it can become for us. The picture is an invitation to recognize that your reality always confirms your inner assumptions and therefore there is actually no clear separation between inside and outside. The same thing can happen to two people on the outside - but they may interpret it completely differently and therefore each of them lives in a different reality.
If you want more peace on the outside, the way to achieve this is to first create it within yourself. The two doves in the picture also represent exactly this message.
This painting was created in several layers with acrylic and oil paints.
