Para mí, la última capa blanca de pintura que apliqué al lienzo representa quietud, paz, introspección y, al mismo tiempo, forma una especie de secreto oculto bajo la capa. El hecho de que los vibrantes colores ocultos aún sean apenas visibles es como capturar un hermoso recuerdo y sellarlo para siempre. Por eso la titulé «Lo que el silencio guarda/ What the silence holds».
What the silence holds
For me, the final white layer of paint I applied to the canvas represents stillness, peace, introspection, and at the same time, it forms a kind of secret hidden beneath the layer. The fact that the vibrant colors hidden underneath are still faintly visible is like capturing a beautiful memory and sealing it forever. That’s why I called it “What the Silence Holds”.
This painting has multi layers of acrylic paint on canvas making this artwork textural. The canvas is stretched over professionally made wooden stretcher bars.
The sides are painted so the art work is ready to hang.
