Predominan los tonos oscuros —azules, negros y verdes— que evocan la inmensidad del mar o del cielo nocturno. Entre esas sombras emergen toques de blanco y dorado, que parecen romper la densidad, como si fueran destellos de luz reflejada en la superficie del agua o rayos de sol que se filtran entre nubes turbulentas.
La textura rugosa y la superposición de colores sugieren movimiento, caos y calma al mismo tiempo, como una metáfora visual del contraste entre tormenta y serenidad.
