Naturaleza comprometida

Trabajo abstracto expresionista y conceptual.

Abstract and conceptual work. Mixed technique on canvas: acrylics, bottle metal plugs recycleds, sawdust and varnish.

With textures and reliefs. Painted sides.

Titled, dated and signed on the back.

With the title I want to highlight the meanings of the adjective "committed" in relation to nature in this case. On the one hand, it means that it is in danger, at risk, in a pressing situation, that it is exposed, and on the sociological side it means commitment, that a responsibility is acquired, which actively takes a clear part in its conservation.

The work recreates an organic abstract landscape, at the same time as an artificial ecosystem.

They could be islands, sprouting nature, a vegetable world full of life, green and golden, resplendent. However, it is created with inorganic waste recycled, matter without life, which is a contradiction in itself.
I intend to raise awareness of the importance of recycling for the sustainability of our planet, acting in favor of ecology.
