Este cuadro presenta una textura densa y rugosa, casi como una superficie erosionada por el tiempo o la naturaleza. Predominan los tonos terrosos oscuros (marrones y rojos profundos) combinados con matices azulados y blancos, que se acumulan en formas orgánicas, irregulares, como si fueran huellas de un relieve natural: corteza de árbol, piedra desgastada o incluso un paisaje visto desde muy cerca.
La abundancia de manchas y grumos blancos evoca nieve o sal cristalizada sobre una superficie rocosa, mientras que los contrastes de rojo sugieren vida, sangre o energía que late bajo lo árido. La sensación general es de algo primordial y telúrico, un territorio áspero, vibrante y lleno de memoria.
