Alienation — Blue Face, Orange Field

A blue face emerges within an expansive orange field. The garment and background share warm tones, interrupted by black drips at the hands and a green band near the lower edge. The figure is both clearly centered and partly absorbed into its surroundings, holding presence and estrangement together.

An original work by Gela Mikava from the Alienation series, painted with acrylic and oil on fabric. The series explores human presence, anonymity and emotional distance.
