Alienation — Turquoise Veil

A figure appears within overlapping turquoise, blue and pink passages. Its face is reduced to a blue shape, while long black lines descend around the arms and cross the surrounding fields. The body remains recognizable even as the movement of color makes its boundaries uncertain.

An original work by Gela Mikava from the Alienation series, painted with acrylic and oil on fabric. The series explores human presence, anonymity and emotional distance.
