Natural Mediterranean

This watercolor pays tribute to the rural architecture and landscape of Moncofa, centering on the unmistakable silhouette of the Mas de Trigo tower.

The composition is structured horizontally, beginning in the foreground with a rich chromatic contrast: to the left, reeds and dry grasses glow in warm ochre, amber, and reddish tones, while the central base is tinged with fresh, luminous greens. The middle ground is dominated by a dense orchard of deep greens that envelops the land and guards the building.

Rising with understated elegance from the foliage is the white Mas de Trigo tower—featuring ochre-toned accents and vertical windows—flanked on the right by two tall palm trees that break the horizontal line of the vegetation. The sky, rendered with a soft wash of pale blue that lightens toward the horizon, bathes the scene in the clean, luminous atmosphere characteristic of the Mediterranean coast.
