La textura espesa de la pintura aporta movimiento y profundidad, como si el mar estuviera en calma pero en constante transformación. En el extremo izquierdo, una formación rocosa le da un punto de anclaje al conjunto.
La obra transmite quietud, amplitud y una sensación contemplativa, invitando a perderse en la inmensidad del azul.
