Artwork details
This work is inspired by the famous cinema actress Marilyn Monroe. There is no doubt that Marilyn Monroe is an emblematic icon of the cinema since several decades ago. We won't never be able to forget her performances in movies such as ''Some like it hot'', ''Gentlemen prefer blondes'', ''Love nest'', etc.
I would like that this work help viewers remember the films of this unforgettable cinema star of 1960s by portraying her in a make up session.
I chose watercolor and color pencils for this work because these techniques are very suitable for painting soft and delicate skin colors. It has done on watercolor paper.
I hope the audience enjoy it.
