How mind and matter interact: How do ideas become things? Quite simply by allowing yourself to receive inspiration from within (the "invisible world") and following it to take the steps needed to turn these ideas into action.
Allow yourself to be inspired and in turn be inspired by the world around you to create new ideas - and create new worlds! The deer is a wonderful symbol for this, as it is connected to nature and the earth and its antlers are symbolic antennae into the invisible world.
"The alchemy of spirit and matter" is a picture from my Alchemy seriesin which I unite opposites and different states in one painting.
This painting was created in several layers with acrylic and oil paints.
Sonjas art is an invitation to explore the many layers of life. Her works are more than just paintings—they are mirrors of the viewer’s inner world. The vibrant contrasts in her pieces symbolize not only the endless possibilities life holds but also the courage to overcome inner resistance and step into one’s full power. By combining various materials and mixed-media techniques, she creates depth that extends beyond the visible, inviting the viewer to dream. Animals and figures often appear in her work, serving as symbolic representations of inner states that everyone carries within. Her art blends reality and magic, serving as a reminder that everything one seeks is already within.
