This painting exists at the edge of presence and disappearance, capturing the fragile boundary between identity and oblivion. Translucent layers of muted blues, deep greens, and veiled pinks obscure the subject’s features, creating a haunting tension between form and dissolution. The result is a figure both seen and vanishing—a fleeting embodiment of self.
Through this piece, I explore the impermanence of human existence. How much of our identity is real, and how much is an illusion? How do we define ourselves beyond the surface of flesh? These are the questions I invite the viewer to confront.
