Language of Light series uses graphite and charcoal to examine the relationship between light, surface, transparency and form. Drawing on subjects ranging from the crystalline form of a crystal horse and translucent seahorses to the reflective surface of a balloon dog, the artist transforms familiar forms into meditations on luminosity, materiality and perception.
