This colourful oil painting shows a lively depiction of a fox hunt. The riders are depicted in different positions, adding movement and dynamism to the scene. A pack of hounds runs in front of the horses. The background is dominated by lush autumn foliage in bright shades of yellow, orange and green. The trees form a natural frame for the group of riders and reinforce the impression of a forest scene.
