Scottie Dog with a Long Tail — Red, Green and Yellow constructs the image of a dog from a red triangular head, an arched green body and a bright yellow tail. This work is part of a series exploring a contradiction in our relationship with dogs. We speak increasingly about their welfare and rights, yet often present them as extensions of our image and taste. By turning the dog into an object that appears assembled and styled, the sculpture asks where affection ends and the treatment of a living being as an accessory begins.
