"Geometría en Falla" (Geometry in Failure) addresses the tension between structure and collapse in the representation of the body. The work begins with an apparently orderly construction—an implicit geometry of relationships, tensions, and directions—that is progressively destabilized until it becomes a field of material friction. The body does not appear as a closed form, but rather as a surface subject to displacement, fragmentation, and a loss of structural coherence. The image is constructed from error: deviation, the disruption of order, and the impossibility of a stable geometry. In this process, the painting does not illustrate a body but instead records its failure. Form remains in a state of suspension between control and dissolution, where pictorial residue acquires the same structural value as the figure. "Geometría en Falla" thus proposes an interpretation of the body as an unstable system, in which structure does not precede the image but rather emerges from its collapse.
