1st Artelista Offline show

What is it?

Artelista Offline is a show that will take place from 1 to 15 October 2015 in Barcelona. The artworks on display will be selected from among all those submitted by the artists who want to take part in the first offline event organised by Artelista, after more than 10 years of exhibiting and selling art online. The aim of this show is to make the Artelista experience more personal, and to encourage face to face contact between artists, collectors and the Artelista team. As well as the artworks on display, there will be various events revolving around the art world and the selected artists and their artwork. We invite you to enter the open call and be part of an event that means so much to the whole team and to the artists who make up the Artelista community.

How to take part?

The call is open to all artists registered with Artelista who are resident in Spain, submitting a single artwork of their choice. Only one entry per artist will be accepted.

Artworks of any subject, style and technique may be submitted. The artwork must be on display on Artelista at the time the entry form is sent.

For logistical reasons, artworks larger than 120 cm wide and 180 cm high will not be accepted.

Conditions

The artist undertakes to reserve the selected artwork until the show opens.

Only one entry form per artist, with a single artwork and correctly filled in, will be accepted. Otherwise, Artelista reserves the right not to select that entrant.

Between 12 and 18 August 2015, the selected artist must confirm that they have received the notification sent by Artelista on 12 August, along with their agreement to the conditions of the show and the availability of the artwork. If Artelista has not received this confirmation once this period is over, the artist will be contacted one last time on 19 August. If no contact can be established with the artist, they will automatically be dropped from the selection and another artist will be found to take their place in the show.

The artist will be responsible for getting the artwork to the venue of the show. In the event of a sale, Artelista's general conditions will apply, that is, Artelista takes care of shipping the artwork and managing the sale. If the artwork has not found a buyer once the show is over, the artist will be responsible for collecting the artwork or arranging its collection (together with Artelista and a transport company) during the days following the end of the show.

If the artist does not collect the artwork or state their intention to have it returned within 7 days, the artwork will be considered abandoned.

The artwork is under Artelista's responsibility from the moment it is delivered to the venue of the show until it is collected for return.

The price of the artwork, including Artelista's commission, as stated on the entry form and on Artelista, is binding and will therefore be the price it carries during the show.

The measurements and materials specified on the entry form must match those of the artwork received, since otherwise this would mean misleading information when promoting the show and for the potential buyer.

In the event of a sale, the conditions will be the same as on Artelista. The process will be completely transparent for the artist, who will receive notifications in the same way as with an online sale.
