Artelista was founded in 2004 as an online art gallery and, since then, we have exhibited the artwork of artists from more than a hundred countries. It is an honour for us to have put thousands of artists in touch with an art-loving public regardless of where the piece or the collector happened to be, since we have made sure it reaches its destination. We are also delighted to hear from artists who, thanks to being shown on our site, have ended up represented by a physical gallery, something that for many emerging artists is an almost impossible goal.

After a long time looking at artworks from behind a screen, we started wondering about putting on a physical exhibition with a small selection of all the art shown on Artelista, and that is how this Artelista Offline 2015 show came about.

The Artelista Offline 2015 show will feature 56 artworks by Artelista's most outstanding artists, chosen from among more than 250 entrants. It is a multidisciplinary exhibition in which painting predominates, although there will also be sculpture, digital art, photography and drawing on view.

Worth pointing out is the strong presence of figurative Realism, with artists of the calibre of José Higuera, José Mª Madrid Sanz and Tomás Castaño, as well as some of Artelista's breakthrough artists such as Erika Seguín, Sofía G. Ruiz and Adrián GoMa. This show will be a good chance to see some of the finest artworks on Artelista, by artists who set trends and who have a promising future on the current contemporary art scene.
