With over a hundred works, From Tiepolo to Degas sheds new light on the rarely shown collection of the Fondation de l'Hermitage (Lausanne, Switzerland). Focusing on the museum’s masterpieces (including Tiepolo, Bocion, Sisley, Degas, Vuillard, Vallotton, Valadon, Braque and Magritte), the exhibition brings these works face to face, in an innovative dialogue, with other gems from public and private Swiss collections, often being exhibited for the first time.

The Galería Elvira González (Madrid, Spain) hosts, for the first time, an individual exhibition devoted to Italian artist Michelangelo Pistoletto. The show, which will be on view through May 18, 2012, features a selection of 8 large works belonging to the Mirror Paintings series. These pieces, made of polished stainless steel, reflect the exhibition space, interact with it and allow the visitor to recreate his own reflection.
In 2012, the year of its tenth anniversary, the Pinakothek der Moderne (Munich, Germany) has chosen the theme of Women in the works of three key artists of the 20th century: Pablo Picasso, Max Beckmann and Willem de Kooning.
