The Museum for Modern Art in Zürich (Switzerland) is staging the first-ever exhibition of masterpieces from the private collection of the Nahmad family. This show, entitled Miró, Monet, Matisse. The Nahmad Collection, features more than 100 paintings by Miró, Picasso, Matisse, Kandinsky, Monet, Magritte and many others.

The Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (Madrid, España) hosts a retrospective on René Daniëls (Eindhoven, Netherlands, 1950), to be held at the Palacio de Velázquez in the Park of El Retiro. René Daniëls. An exhibition is always part of a greater whole demonstrates the complexity of this artist's work while attempting to contextualize the eighties in a new way.

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum (New York, USA) hosts an exhibition that traces Kandinsky's working method through a roughly chronological display of twelve drawings and watercolors and one major oil sketch related to Painting with White Border.

The Albertina Museum (Vienna, Austria) presents the original Forberg Collection for the first time. Comprising 38 outstanding artworks, it complements the Albertina's own collection especially in the area of Classical Modernism.

In collaboration with Artangel (London), the MACBA Foundation (Barcelona, Spain) and eight other international institutions, presents 1395 Days without Red, a cinematographic project by Sejla Kameric and Anri Sala in collaboration with Ari Benjamin Meyers.
