Art exhibitions

This summer, following on from the success of Miró-Jan Steen in 2010, the Rijksmuseum presents a series of self-portraits of the two artists when they were young.

The Royal Academy of Arts stages, on the occasion of the Hungarian Presidency of the EU 2011 and until October 2, the exhibition Eyewitness: Hungarian Photography in the 20th Century. Brassaï, Capa, Kertész, Moholy-Nagy, Munkácsi.

‘New York, Then and Now’: that’s the name of the exhibition hosted by the Moscow Museum of Modern Art until July 31. A sampling of New York City images as seen from the eyes of twenty-nine international photographers, both amateur and professional, dead and alive.

The Museo Thyssen Bornemisza hosts, until 25 September, a temporary exhibition that offers a complete overview of the work of the Spanish artist Antonio López, the leading representative of Spanish contemporary realism and figuration.
