The Niemeyer Centre in Avilés (Asturias, Spain) in collaboration with diChroma Photography (Madrid) and the Howard Greenberg Gallery (New York) presents, for the first time, the Unseen exhibition by American photographer and actress Jessica Lange.
The exhibition reunites 78 photographs taken during the last twenty years and splits into two series: "Things I See" and "Mexico, On scene".
In 1967, Jessica Lange won a scholarship from the University of Minnesota to study photography, but the ups and downs of her student life bring her to Spain and Paris, where he decided putting her drama career first.
She began her career in acting, became an emblematic protagonist of different films and received two Oscar as best actress for her performances in Tootsie in 1983 and Blue Sky in 1995.
Lange takes her pictures during her travels: United States, France, Finland and Italy are among the countries she visits but she shows a special fondness for Mexico, "with its lights and great nights" as she says.
