The Casa de América (Madrid, Spain), in collaboration with diChroma Photography, exhibits Sequences of Mexico a compilation of works by American actress and photographer Jessica Lange on view for the first time in Madrid.
The exhibition features 96 photographs of which 58 are unedited and produced exclusively for this exhibition by diChroma Photography. Sequences of Mexico includes a series of thirty images that shows an Indian ancient rite from the Chiapas region.
Taken in Mexico during the past 15 years, the images recount by almost cinematic sequences, travel and landscapes that are always between light and shadow. This is a Mexico that acts as an everyday scenario where, realty appears in a double background.
