Other looks at the National Library of Spain

The National Library of Spain, in collaboration with Spanish Cultural Action (AC / E) presents Other looks, an exhibition organized in commemoration of the tricentenary of the institution.

Other looks proposes a dialogue between the National Library of Spain and artworks from about 30 Spanish museums: The Museo del Prado, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, the Lázaro Galdiano Museum, the Museum of Romanticism, the Royal Palace, the Museum of Natural History, the History Museum of Madrid, the Museum of America and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.

The exhibition features works by the most reputed architects of the Spanish culture: Benjamín Palencia, Juan Pérez de Mungía [Mariano José de Larra], León Gil de Palacio, Valeriano Domínguez Bécquer, Melchor Sánchez, Juan Carreño de Miranda, Manuel Abril, Mauricio Bacarisse, Antonio Espina, José Bergamín, Tomás Borrás, Pedro Emilio Coll, Ramón Gómez de la Serna, José Gutiérrez Solana, Rembrandt, Louis Thiébaut, Miguel Jacinto Meléndez, Guillermo de Torre, Robert Delaunay, Filippo Juvarra, Antonio Stradivarius, Pedro Calderón de la Barca and Antonio de Pereda.

Opening hours: from Monday to Friday from 9am to 9pm. Saturdays from 9am to 2pm.
