La obra muestra un paisaje marino minimalista, donde predominan los tonos grises y azulados. El cielo aparece cubierto de nubes densas que transmiten una sensación de calma melancólica. El mar, en perfecta sintonía con el cielo, refleja esos matices apagados y tranquilos. En la lejanía, casi perdido en la inmensidad, se distingue un catamarán solitario, pequeño en comparación con la vastedad del horizonte.
