The exhibition Munch's Laboratory. The Path to the Aula is the Munch Museum's (Norway) contribution to the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the University of Oslo. We interview Petra Pettersen, curator of the exhibition, who explains the artistic collaboration between Edvard Munch and the University.

The Royal Castle in Warsaw (Poland) and Martin-Gropius-Bau, Berlin (Germany) are jointly developing the exhibition entitled Side by Side. Poland-Germany. A 1000 Years of Art and History which will be on view in Berlin from September 23, 2011 to January 9, 2012.

The Centre Pompidou (Paris, France) organizes Edvard Munch. The Modern Eye, an exhibition with almost 140 of his works, including some 60 paintings, 30 works on paper and 50 vintage photographs. The show also reunites a number of films and one of the artist's very rare sculptures, Edvard Munch, l'oeil modern.

The Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires, Malba-Fundación Constantini (Argentina) celebrates its tenth anniversary with two events: a retrospective dedicated to Venezuelan artist Carlos Cruz-Diez and a new tour through 20th century Latin American art.
