Arts Santa Monica (Barcelona, Spain) presents Mehr Licht (More Light), the first retrospective of the artist Chema Alvargonzález (Jerez de la Frontera, 1960-Berlin, 2009), a major multidisciplinary artist who lived and worked in two cities: Barcelona and Berlin.

The Costa Rican Art Museum (MAC) pays homage to Rabindranath Tagore's life and artistic work with the exhibition Tagore: India Costa Rica, a show that commemorates the 150th of the birth of the Bengali artist.

With the exhibition Diego Rivera: Murals for The Museum of Modern Art, MoMA (New York, USA) reunites five "portable murals"-freestanding frescoes with bold images commemorating events in Mexican history -that were made for a monographic exhibition of the artist's work at the Museum in 1931.

For the first time in Spain, the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza (Madrid, Spain) is presenting a retrospective of the work of the Impressionist painter Berthe Morisot. The exhibition includes more than thirty works from the collection of the Musée Marmottan Monet in Paris, shown alongside others from the Thyssen collections. 

The Albertina Museum (Vienna, Austria) presents, until February 26, an exhibition of René Magritte, one of the most renowned and popular artists of the 20th century. A selection of more than 100 works from around the world will cover every creative phase of the artist, retracing Magritte's artistic career.
