The Museum of Modern Art in Mexico organizes, in close collaboration with Cultural Action of Spain and the Valencian Institute of Modern Art (IVAM) a retrospective devoted to Félix Candela. The exhibition reunites architectural projects by Candela that were carried out abroad, his most productive period between 1940 and 1960 and his great contribution to architecture in Mexico.
Sovereign Destinies, Napoleon 1st, the Tsar ant the King of Sweden is the name of the new show hosted by the Grand Palais (Paris, France), which brings together nearly 150 works, mostly from the prestigious collections of the National Museum in Stockholm, the Swedish royal collections and Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg. Loans from the Copenhagen museum and several French museums, including the Louvre, Versailles and Carnavalet, complete the ensemble.
