The painter José Luis Cremades Milla has received the Mario Antolín Grant organized by the BMW Painting Award, which celebrates its fifth edition. In the event, held at the headquarters of BMW Ibérica, the artist has received the second part of the award from Mr. Eduardo Villaverde, CEO of the BMW Group of Spain and Portugal, and Mr. Tomás Paredes, Secretary of the Jury Prize for the BMW Painting Award.
The grant, worth 9,000 euros, is awarded to the youngest finalist of the BMW Painting Award, who has to present a memory of the work carried out during a year that reflects the results of his research. The work, an acrylic painting on canvas of 195x184cm, is entitled Canto Nocturno.
In José Luis Cremades’ work ‘The chromatic intensity combines with privileged color masses, composing a gradation of sensations. The painting in non-referential, abstract and dependant on various forms of lighting. "
BMW, with the BMW Painting Award, reiterates its support to the Spanish artists and gives an opportunity to young talents.
