Adrián GoMa
Location Spain

Adrián Goma is a painter from Madrid who has not turned 30 yet. Born and resident in the neighborhood of San Blas, it is from there that he observes and reacts to reality with an irresistible personality, which is on the fringes of clichés and works in the diffused straight line of his own individuality. Being a child he chose the self-taught path, a decision that keeps being solid today and is the base of his artistic proposal. It is combined with the constant presence on his ideological horizon of international pictorial models such as Francis Bacon, Egon Schiele or Lucian Freud. His work is focused on the portrait as his main way of expression, but his production and artistic investigations embrace other subjects like animation and sculpture, illustration and comic. He wants to capture his big temperament and the great variety of struggling sentiments that walk with him every day.

David Farrés was educated in the study of the renowned painter Manuel Sánchez Almendros (director of the missing Mediterranean Academy in Barcelona, founded by the departed Joaquim Torrents Lladó). His main themes aim to provide the observer with a breaking vision while taking care of the techniques used by his admired classical painters. In his collection "In the Museum" this link can be seen directly. Regarding his works with city views (mainly Barcelona), the precision in the drawing stands out together with a caring way of treating the matter in such a way that the artwork is maintained in a pictorial shot away from the purely photographic purpose. It is in his figurative and nude portraits where a biggest freedom in his style can be appreciated and where we find the connection between art and happiness. He always looks for brush-strokes that invite the observer/’s gaze to a suggestive and interesting tour.

Grech Santos
Location Spain

Grech Santos is a Majorcan painter fascinated by the light and reflections of the rainy days and the sea. He conveys strength and movement by capturing the image as if it was a living and latent memory, sometimes charged with nostalgia of his embarked life, which significantly influenced his early paintings. With a modernist and impressionist style applied to everyday scenes of contemporary life, his painting captures the contrast between the grey of the city and the intense colours of the vehicles and pedestrians, creating a dynamic and full of life urban atmosphere.

With a master brush-stroke directed by an unusual technique in such a young painter, we find ourselves before a collection of attractive and well performed works. Cascales made his début twelve years ago in the Segrelles Gallery. We have enjoyed with him the most original Valencian light. We have been delighted with his walks through the Venetian canals. He has guided us in the cold Parisian streets and has accompanied us in a visit to the most suggestive landscapes in Prague. Every showing has been a “travel journal” that becomes secret when he stamps his works with such a personal and convincing vision. And it is not something to miss when still in his earlier years as a painter, he stated that what he intended was to transmit life and feelings to his work. And the audience knows he has got it: every artwork is a part of him, an ensemble of sentiments that uncontrollably escape in a vibrant and daring brush-stroke. Every artwork is an emotion, a sensation, a life lesson that Cascales gives shape to with mastery and knowledge.

The artist Jordi Torrent provides the spectator with a need for describing the emotion of the moment, its colour and its depth.
Numerous and different awards such as the 1st prize Bruixa Arenys de Munt (2014) and the International Prize Tossa de Mar (2014) back up his multifaceted way of looking and style found behind his work. The few but intense brushstrokes that define his paintings sum up the full of shades and elaborated work he ponders passionately.
