My name is Gerardo Alvarez Jaen (20) I am a college student who came to Orlando, Florida to spend his holidays and at the same time spread the art of my father Edgar Alberto Alvarez Chavez (39). We live in the city of Arequipa, Peru. My father was an amateur painter, well dedicated, very talented and recognized in my country whose whole aim was to spread the preservation of endangered animals through paintings and art, he thought by this that he could show the world that unique Peruvian flora and fauna that exists in Peru, however it is still unknown for some. It is also the means of expression to raise awareness of people about the disappearance of these massive animals because of the destruction of their habitat driving it gradually to a irretrievable loss of these animals for future generations.

Through coincidences of life I had the chance to obtain your E-mail address and wanting to grab your attention I desire to propose you a business. I want you to sell my art across your contacts and so if they are sold, this will

leave us both benefited. I hope you are interested, my father is still in Peru and now in the process of developing more paintings and continuing with his mission on preserving endangered animals. I will continue to be in Orlando if you would wish to speak with me directly.

The works presented are about endangered animals, some unknown to science; for example in Peru we have the Huanaco, Vizcacha, Chichilla, Bear With lenses, Pumas de la Sierra, etc. Each has a special significance (eg chinchilla is the animal with a thin coat over the world, hence it is very contributed thousands of dollars around the world) using mixed techniques; Watercolors, graphite pencil, temperas , colored pencils and pastels on paper format; my techniques are humble but may improve over time while being able to obtain the resources to carry out.
Through this art I wish to contact people like you interested in my work for commercial purposes or also engaging a dialogue on the subject.

I am sending a few copies of my work through an ‘Attached Document’ and some other images by e-mail; I am hoping to see an answer from you as soon as you could. My mother tongue is Spanish, if you know this language or any of your contacts do I am sure the communication would be more enjoyable.
