For the seventh year running, Photographic Social Vision is organizing the international World Press Photo exhibition. This year, the show that brings together the 170 winning photographs in the prestigious international photojournalism contest has recognised three Spanish photographers and two projects related to the Internet and social networks

Raphael's masterpieces Sistine Madonna and Madonna di Foligno. are now reunited in a special exhibition named Heavenly Splendour. Raphael, Dürer and Grünewald paint the Madonna, which is organized by the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, (Germany) together with the Vatican Museums. Bernhard Maaz, Director of the museum, tells us everything about the exhibition.

At the close of the year marking the twentieth anniversary of the MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst, (Frankfurt, Germany) the museum devotes itself entirely to photography and video art. A solo exhibition on Douglas Gordon will await the visitor in the MMK main building.

In keeping with the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium's desire to spotlight lesser-known artists, they are pleased to present an exhibition devoted to Ferdinand Schirren (1872–1944). Schirren, whose work is well represented in the Royal Museums' holdings, is considered to be the first Belgian Fauve.
