CaixaForum Barcelona (Spain) is the only stop in Spain on an international tour organised by the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute to bring these great masterpieces to audiences around the world, an initiative that coincides with the extension of the US gallery.

The Museo del Prado, which turns 192 years on November 19, celebrates its anniversary with a varied program of activities. The celebration begins on Wednesday with the presentation of two monographs on the architecture of the museum, which was designed by architects Pedro Moleón and Rafael Moneo.

With the exhibition Diego Rivera: Murals for The Museum of Modern Art, MoMA (New York, USA) reunites five "portable murals"-freestanding frescoes with bold images commemorating events in Mexican history -that were made for a monographic exhibition of the artist's work at the Museum in 1931.
