In autumn, the Schirn Kunsthalle (Frankfurt, Germany) will dedicate a comprehensive exhibition featuring about fifty paintings and drawings to the French Impressionist Gustave Caillebotte

Thanks to a partnership with the Museo del Prado, the Meadow Museum will be exhibiting Diego Velázquez: The Early Court Portraits, from September 16, 2012 to January 13, 2013. The show has as its centerpiece the portrait of Philip IV from the Prado.

The Fundación Tàpies (Barcelona, Spain) organizes Antoni Tàpies. Head arms legs body, an exhibition focused on the last thirteen years of the artist’s production. The main theme of the exhibition is the body.

Organised by Tate Britain and produced by ”la Caixa” Foundation, William Blake (1757-1827). Visions in British Art takes a fresh look at the artist and his influence on later British art. Comprising more than one hundred works, Visions is the first exhibition on this extraordinary artist to be organised in Spain since 1996.

Yayoi Kusama’s (b.1929) pioneering work spans over six decades and the artist's exhibition that is now of view at the Whitney Museum (New York, USA) highlights Kusama's moments of most intense innovation.
