The Martin-Gropius-Bau presents a selection of two hundred photographs that afford an opportunity to explore the origins, scope and aspirations in the photography of Diane Arbus. The exhibition includes all of the artist’s iconic photographs as well as many that have never before been publicly exhibited.

The National Gallery (London, United Kingdom) presents this week Metamorphosis: Titian 2012, which will see a range of contemporary artists – including choreographers, composers, poets and visual artists respond to paintings by Renaissance master Titian. Their work will be displayed at the museum and performed at the Royal Opera House by The Royal Ballet.

Gustav Klimt: The Magic of Line, Drawings from the Albertina Museum, Vienna, on view at the J. Paul Getty Museum July 3, 2012 through September 23, 2012, is the first major museum exhibition devoted entirely to the modern master’s drawings.

Man Ray, Lee Miller: Partners in Surrealism is a major exhibition hosted by the Legion of Honor which consists of approximately 115 photographs, paintings, drawings and manuscripts that explore the creative interaction between Man Ray and Lee Miller, two giants of European Surrealism.

The Tate Modern (London, United Kigndom) hosts Edvard Munch. The Modern Eye, an exhibition with almost 140 of his works, including some 60 paintings, 30 works on paper and 50 vintage photographs
