I am Jesús Fernández Escobar (1988, La Puerta de Segura, Jaén, Spain), a visual artist passionate about painting as a means of visual exploration. My work moves between figuration and abstraction, where geometry not only structures the composition but also becomes its own expressive language.

My training began in Mechanical Engineering, a discipline that taught me to understand balance, structure, and precision in form. However, art has always been my true voice, leading me to delve deeper into my painting practice until I obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Seville in 2020.
I work with color, the overlapping of planes, and the fragmentation of space to generate a dialogue between the concrete and the abstract. I am interested in the tension between the recognizable and the suggested, the way in which the viewer reconstructs the image and imbues it with meaning.
Throughout my career, I have exhibited my work in various solo and group exhibitions, both in Spain and abroad. My paintings have found their way into private collections on all five continents, reinforcing my conviction that art knows no borders, only connections.
From my studio in Puente de Génave, I continue to explore new forms of expression, always seeking that point of equilibrium between structure and emotion, between precision and intuition.
